Keno draw times and how to read your results

When Keno results are published

Keno is drawn four times a day, every day, at 10:00 am, 1:00 pm, 3:00 pm and 6:00 pm NZ time. Tickets for each draw are on sale until shortly before it starts. We add the winning numbers and multiplier here within minutes of each draw.

Checking your ticket

Compare your numbers with the 20 drawn above, or use the Keno checker to see what each line won, with or without Multiplier. How many you need to match depends on your prize group, which is how many numbers you played on that line. Play six and match three, and you've won. Play seven and match three, and you haven't. The full payout table is in our Keno guide, and older draws are in the Keno archive.

The Multiplier

Every Keno draw has a multiplier of 1.5, 2, 3, 5 or 10, shown next to each result above. It only changes your prize if you added Multiplier to your ticket, which doubles the cost. If you did, any prize on that line is multiplied by the value drawn.

Claiming a prize

Prizes must be claimed within 12 months of the draw date. After that they're forfeited and the money goes into Lotto NZ's prize reserve fund.

The prize cap

Keno has no rolling jackpot: prizes are set by your prize group and stake, so nothing carries over. One cap applies. If all prizes for 7 of 7, 8 of 8, 8 of 9, 9 of 9, 9 of 10 and 10 of 10 in a single draw add up to more than $2.5 million, Multiplier included, those prizes are reduced proportionally.

Keno results FAQ

What are today's Keno results?

No Keno draws have taken place yet today. The latest, at 6:00 pm yesterday, was draw 27847 with a ×5 multiplier. Yesterday's numbers are on the 9 October results page.

How often are Keno NZ winning numbers drawn?

Four times a day, every day, at 10:00 am, 1:00 pm, 3:00 pm and 6:00 pm. We publish each result within minutes of the draw.

Where can I find older Keno results?

In the Keno archive, listed by month. Each day there links to all four of its draws.

How does winning work in Keno?

Twenty numbers are drawn from a pool of 80. What you need to match depends on your prize group: how many numbers you chose to play on that line. Generally it's about half your numbers or better, though prize group 10 also pays if none of your ten come up.

What does the multiplier next to each draw mean?

A value of 1.5, 2, 3, 5 or 10 is drawn alongside the numbers in every game. It only applies if you added Multiplier to your ticket. If you did, any prize on that line is multiplied by it.

Are all four daily draws shown on this page?

The latest draw is shown in full, with the earlier draws from that day listed by time and multiplier. For previous days we show each draw's multiplier; open that date's page for the complete numbers from all four draws.

How long do I have to claim a Keno prize?

12 months from the draw date. After that the prize is forfeited and the money goes into the prize reserve fund, so it's worth checking older tickets sooner rather than later.

How soon after each draw are results published here?

Usually within a few minutes of each of the four daily draws, once the numbers and multiplier are confirmed.
