How to check your Lotto ticket

  1. 1

    Enter your numbers

Type the six Lotto numbers from your ticket line, plus your Powerball and Strike numbers if you played them. Strike numbers go in the order on your ticket.

  2. 2

    Choose the draws

Pick the date of the first draw on your ticket and how many consecutive draws it covers.

  3. 3

    Check your line

Choose "Check numbers" to see the division and prize for each draw, with the total across your ticket.

Lotto checker FAQ

Can I check Powerball and Strike too?

Yes. Enter your six Lotto numbers and, if you played them, your Powerball and four Strike numbers. You can also check Strike on its own. Powerball only counts together with your Lotto numbers, because its prizes depend on how many Lotto numbers you matched.

Do my numbers need to be in order?

Not for Lotto and Powerball. Strike is different: a Strike number only counts when it is in the same position as in the draw, so enter them in the order printed on your ticket.

Can I check a multi-draw ticket?

Yes. Choose the first draw on your ticket and how many consecutive draws it covers, and the checker shows the result of each draw and adds up the prizes.

Why is there no amount for my prize?

When the published results for a division don't include a prize amount, the checker shows your division without one. Confirm the amount with Lotto NZ.

How long do I have to claim a Lotto prize?

12 months from the draw date. After that the prize is forfeited, so check older tickets sooner rather than later.

Is this the official result?

No. This is an independent results site, so always confirm a win with Lotto NZ or an authorised retailer before you throw a ticket away.

Can I check a Lucky Dip ticket?

Yes. A Lucky Dip line works like any other line, so enter the numbers printed on your ticket. Check one line at a time.

How far back can I check?

Any draw from the last 12 months. That's also how long you have to claim a prize, so a ticket from an older draw can't be paid out.

My ticket shows a Powerball number above 10. Is that right?

Yes. Since draw 2621 on 16 September 2026, Powerball numbers run from 1 to 14. Earlier draws used 1 to 10.
